If you’re following this blog you know I love to make my own things; especially gifts. However I’m aware that sometimes life happens and we don’t always have the time or resources to always make everything.  I made a quick little guide for eco friendly gifts which I have personally bought for my friends and family.

I recently put together these gifts for my best friend who loves all things Star Wars! Please know all these items aren’t sponsored of any kind. I have purchased every single item with my own money because I genuinely find the items useful l and want to support companies that support eco-friendly items.

I first packed everything into a reused box and added some fun sayings that related to birthdays and Star Wars. It makes for a fun surprise upon opening.

Inside I included the following:

Reuseable silicone bags from Pyrex that has a licensing agreement from Star Wars. I’m generally a fan of Stasher Bags, but these were the only ones I could find with Star Wars on them. I haven’t personally used this brand before but my friend did say they are working well.  Macys is having a last act sale on them here. I’m not sure how long those prices will be good.  In case they are not longer available check here on the Pyrex website here and here.

A handmade pouch that I found locally. I love the fabric of Darth Vader and baby yoda. Can be used to store any items. I really liked how it had a key ring on the side, so it can be attached without losing it. I don’t have a direct link to this since I bought it locally. But here is a similar item from Etsy

Stickers were also included, which might not be too sustainable. However I also got these locally, in which I supported a local artist through this purchase – which is sustainable in that regards. Again no link but here is something similar on Etsy

cha-cha cha-cha Chia Pet! How fun is this baby yoda one! A fun and simple way to grow your own greens with just chia seeds. My friend loved this one! We grew up in the 80’s and 90’s together when chia pets were at the height of their popularity. So this was a bit of a nostalgic gift for her.  I was actually surprised on the packaging of this one. It’s just the outside cardboard box with some additional cardboard inside for packaging. There was a small plastic tray to mix the seeds, but that was the only plastic involved. Now I’m going to have that chia pet Commercial song stuck in my head all day long! Found at Target for $19.99

Thats it for the Star Wars gifts! Be sure to check out my other gift guides for the sustainable lover, the roadtripper, and the graduate.
