A fun little project you can do in under 5 minutes. Plus a unique way to display your favorite treat or brand by reusing the cardboard packaging. I’m using a box from Whataburger, which is beloved by Texans – if you know, you know! 😂
What you’ll need:
-thinner cardboard (cereal box type)
-printed tutorial found here
-scissors or x-acto knife
-pencil
Step 1: Print off the template found here. If you don’t have a printer you can always try tracing the template from a computer screen on a plain sheet of paper, then just use that as your template. Or utilize the printer from your public library (that’s what I do!)

Step 2: Cut out the template only on the dotted lines.
Step 3: Use a pencil to trace the template onto the cardboard. If you want the design of the cardboard to show you will need to trace the template onto the cardboard facing down.
Step 4: Cut out the traced template from the cardboard box. Remember to only cut on the dotted lines.
Step 5: Pre fold all the fold lines and then unfold them.
Step 6: Time to assemble. Align the top of the page to fold line 3.
Now fold again so fold line one lays flat against the bottom portion by the tabs. It will form a triangle at the side. (Fold line two be the top of the triangle, one is in the front and three in the back.)
Make sure the three bottom tabs are slightly raised.
Insert the two rounded tabs into the cuts.
Rest your phone on the bottom long tab.

That’s it! I love how portable it is, especially for travel. You can easily disassemble it and place it in a backpack when not needed. Let me know if you end up making this 😊 If you enjoy these upcycles I hope you may consider joining my newsletter list. I only send out newsletters once every other month and they often have 2-3 different tutorials. As a newsletter subscriber you are always get first peak at my upcycle tutorials.
