Do you ever wish you had some extra room to hang something outdoors? Maybe for camping or gardening? Then try this easy idea with keeping the earth in mind.

You’ll need:

-A fallen thick branch that is dry with a bit of an angle

-Scissors

-String

First decide where you want your ‘hook’ to be placed. I decided on a tree in my backyard. I tried to find the smoothest part of the tree so the branch would lay flat with it.

Next take your string and tightly wrap it around the tree and your branch a few times. Secure it with a knot in the back so it’s not visible.

That’s it y’all, easy peezy!

Please note this should only be done to a mature tree and not a young one. If you’re only planning on using it for a weekend camping trip then that’s fine. But you don’t want to leave this on there for years to come. The tree would grow with it and we don’t want to mess up Mother Nature.

What are you going to store on yours?  I have some gardening tools on mine or maybe I’ll try displaying my upcycled hose wreath.
